1 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> NOVEMBER 10 , 1992 <br /> 0 PAGE 8 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Associates to perform the engineering services for the 1993 <br /> 7 street improvement projects . <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Motion by Marks , second by Wagner to accept the bid of Maier <br /> 10 Stewart and Associates for the engineering services for the <br /> 11 1993 street improvement projects . <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 D. Property Taxpayers Trust Fund <br /> 17 <br /> 18 A letter and example resolution was received from St . Paul <br /> 19 City Councilmember Long. The letter requested the City Council <br /> 20 support a constitutional amendment to guarantee a property <br /> 21 taxpayers trust fund. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 The City Manager advised that initially the AMM had <br /> 24 recommended waiting to take any action on this request . He <br /> 25 noted that additional information has been received on the <br /> 26 subject . He will include in the Council ' s weekly packet the <br /> additional information, a copy of Councilmember Long' s letter <br /> 10 and the proposed resolution . <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Mayor Ranallo stated that both the AMM and the LMC support <br /> 31 this constitutional amendment . Councilmember Wagner felt this <br /> 32 was the only way to make it permanent . Councilmember Marks is <br /> 33 of the opinion that this will get the sales tax where it was <br /> 34 originally intended. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 This will be further discussed at the next regular Council <br /> 37 meeting. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 E. City Manager ' s Performance Evaluation <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The Mayor distributed copies of evaluation sheets for members <br /> 42 of the Council to use to evaluate _the City Manager ' s <br /> 43 performance . He requested they complete the forms and return <br /> 44 them to him by November 20th. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 The Mayor and Councilmember Marks will review all of the <br /> 47 evaluations with the City Manager . <br /> 48 <br /> 49 <br /> 50 <br />
