Resolution No. 93-014 , Re: Authorization to Prepare Plans <br /> 9 and Specifications for the Rehabilitation of 37th Avenue <br /> 10 Northeast <br /> 11 <br /> 12 The City Manager advised that 37th Avenue is on the Minnesota <br /> 13 State Aid System. Discussion followed regarding the new <br /> 14 signalization on 37th Avenue and Stinson Boulevard. The City <br /> 15 Manager was requested to get a report on the number of <br /> 16 accidents since the installation of these signs . Councilmember <br /> 17 Wagner noted there are no warning signs indicating the <br /> 18 location of these new signs . Motorists are not prepared for <br /> 19 them and accidents could result . The Mayor observed that <br /> 20 signals do not competely eliminate accidents . <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Motion by Marks , second by Enrooth to approve Resolution No. <br /> 23 93-014 being a resolution authorizing preparation of plans and <br /> 24 specifications . <br /> 0 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 10 . UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 30 <br /> 31 A. Ordinance No. 1993-01 , Re: Councilmembers ' Salaries <br /> 32 (Second Reading) <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Second 2 . of the Ordinance was corrected to read "January <br /> 35 1994" and "as of its date of publication" was deleted. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Mayor Ranallo has received three phone calls regarding this <br /> 38 resolution. All three callers questioned why the salaries are <br /> 39 so low. Councilmember Wagner inquired if this resolution could <br /> 40 be rescinded in the future. He was advised that it could. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Motion by Enrooth, second by Fleming to approve the second <br /> 43 reading of Ordinance No. 1993-001 being an ordinance relating <br /> 44 to Mayor and Councilmembers salaries ; amending Chapter 2 , <br /> 45 Section 200 . 12 , Subd. 1 and 2 of the St . Anthony 1992 Code of <br /> 46 Ordinances . <br /> 47 <br /> 48 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 49 <br />
