It cost $2 . 3 million to complete the <br /> 8 project . It is currently 80 , 000 square feet and there is <br /> 9 consideration being given for a 6 , 000 square foot <br /> 10 addition . It currently houses a gymnasium, senior citizen <br /> 11 rooms and rooms dedicated for children ' s activities . <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Mayor Ranallo recalled that the newer part of that <br /> 14 building was built in the 60 ' s and the part of the <br /> 15 building which was the same age as the St . Anthony <br /> 16 Community Center was torn down . <br /> 17 <br /> 18 The Requests for Proposals have been finalized and will <br /> 19 be sent to five or six architectural firms with a <br /> 20 deadline date for the end of March . The needs analysis <br /> 21 for both the School District and the City are being <br /> 22 completed. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Councilmember Wagner advised that the School District is <br /> 25 exploring the possibility of moving some classrooms into <br /> 4 this facility. <br /> 28 Councilmember Enrooth also advised he will be meeting <br /> 29 with some residents after this Council Meeting to discuss <br /> 30 their concerns regarding Silver Lake water quality . <br /> 31 <br /> 32 4 . Report of Mayor Ranallo <br /> 33 <br /> 34 The Mayor had nothing to report at this time . <br /> 35 <br /> 36 C . Report of the City Manager <br /> 37 <br /> 38 1 . Fundina for Community Center <br /> 39 <br /> 40 The City Manager advised that a resident of the City had <br /> 41 made a large donation to the Community Center Building <br /> 42 Fund. He requested his identity remain confidential but <br /> 43 expressed his desire to have a very nice building result <br /> 44 from this project . <br /> 45 <br /> 46 The City Manager requested direction as to the <br /> 47 disposition of this contribution as well as any others <br /> 48 which may be received . He noted that $100 still remains <br /> 49 in the Bandshell Fund . It was recommended that a Building <br /> 50 Fund be set up and the staff commence pursuing any <br /> 0 <br />
