•1CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 2 January 11, 1994 <br /> 3 Page 2 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 ■ INTRODUCTION TO THE CITY'S THREE NEW POLICE OFFICERS. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Mayor Ranallo welcomed the three new police officers to St . <br /> 8 Anthony and asked Police Chief Engstrom to introduce the new <br /> 9 officers . Two of the new officers will help with Lauderdale <br /> 10 and the third new officer is replacing one who left . <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Ron Leonard started working full time for St . Anthony on <br /> 13 November 22 , 1993 and has a AA Degree. He is married and <br /> 14 has a two year-old daughter and resides in Maple Grove . <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Tim Flynn started working for St . Anthony on November 29, <br /> 17 1993 and has a BS Degree from St . Thomas University and <br /> 18 completed his skills in Edina. He is single and resides in <br /> 19 St . Paul . <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Mike Royce started working for St . Anthony on November 29, <br /> 2 1993 and has a BA Degree from Mankato State . He is single <br /> 3 and resides in Eagan. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 The Chief indicated that they were doing remarkably well in <br /> 26 the field training program and would be out on the streets <br /> 27 in approximately eight weeks . <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Elie Dubay, 3012 32nd Avenue N.E. , questioned how many <br /> 30 patrol cars there were in the Village. Police Chief <br /> 31 Engstrom responded that there were two marked patrol cars <br /> 32 and one unmarked car. The Mayor added that the Chief drove <br /> 33 an unmarked car. There is one unmarked back-up car which <br /> 34 the City uses as a court utility car and they will be adding <br /> 35 one more car to the fleet sometime in March. The Mayor said <br /> 36 there is also another marked car which the police reserves <br /> 37 use which is not fully equipped. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 ■ PRESENTATION OF PLAQUE TO STATE HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING <br /> 40 CHAMPIONS. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Mayor Ranallo introduced the Coach of the St .
