1 Regular City Council Meeting <br /> 2 March 22, 1994 <br /> 3 Page 8 <br /> 4 Rosemary Franzese requested to be heard in regard to the School District's referendum. Ms. <br /> 5 Franzese offered that 24% of the students at Wilshire Park Elementary School are not residents; <br /> 6 passage of the referendum would ultimately mean large cost increases in operations and maintenance, <br /> 7 and higher taxes. When Marks inquired if Franzese had spoken with members of the Task Force on <br /> 8 these issues, Franzese said she had not attended any of the meetings but has spoke to many school <br /> 9 district residents on the matter. Mayor Ranallo thanked Ms. Franzese for her input. <br /> 10 Closed Session. <br /> 11 The regular Council meeting was closed at 9:10 P.M. by Mayor Ranallo to discuss three litigation <br /> 12 matters. League of Minnesota Cities attorney, Tom Grundhoefer, was present during this session. <br /> 13 The regular Council meeting was reconvened at 9:50 P.M.. <br /> 14 XI.
