PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. <br /> 2 Motion by Fleming, second by Enrooth to approve the following claims: <br /> 3 A. Rieke Carroll Muller Associates, Inc. in the amount of$10,893.01 for professional <br /> 4 services rendered from August 28, 1994 to October 1, 1994. <br /> 5 B. 4 pages of Verified Claims as presented by the Finance Director. <br /> 6 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 7 VII. REPORTS. <br /> 8 A. Mayor. <br /> 9 Mayor Ranallo reported of his attendance at a meeting last Tuesday night with 7 <br /> 10 representatives of CUB Foods and 2 representatives of Knox Lumber. Larry Hamer and <br /> 11 Mike Morrison were also in attendance. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the <br /> 12 preliminary plans for these projects. He then attended the Planning Commission meeting <br /> 13 that followed. <br /> 04 Ranallo expressed his concern that the St. Anthony Bulletin is not giving the issue of the <br /> 15 redevelopment of Apache Plaza enough coverage. He stated that it is very important for <br /> 16 the residents of St. Anthony to be aware of the upcoming Planning Commission meeting <br /> 17 scheduled for November 15th, so they may have an opportunity to attend and express <br /> 18 their views. <br /> 19 He reported of a meeting with the assessors regarding the appraisal of homes in St. <br /> 20 Anthony. He commended the good job the assessors have done this year. They have <br /> 21 reached many homes in the area. <br /> 22 He reported his attendance at a meeting between himself, the City Manager, Police Chief <br /> 23 Engstrom and the City Administrator of the City of Lauderdale. The meeting was in <br /> 24 regard to the last three months of police work in that area. There is an upcoming meeting <br /> 25 scheduled with the Mayors of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale to do the same. <br /> 26 He also reported of his attendance at a meeting with the new Chairpersons of the 50th <br /> 27 Anniversary Committee. The first event of the celebration will be held in January of <br /> 28 1995. It will be held on the Feast of St. Anthony Day. The churches will get together <br /> 29 and have a prayer service for the City of St. Anthony. They have received a commitment <br /> 30 from 3 churches at this point. The next event will be a dance at Apache Plaza. The <br /> committee is looking for volunteers to help with these events. The St. Anthony Bulletin <br /> will be involved by publishing historical articles about the City throughout the year. <br />
