City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> • October 25, 1994 <br /> Page 3 <br /> 1 He reported that he has requested a meeting between himself,the Sport Boosters, <br /> 2 Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club, to get input on the implementation of a gym <br /> 3 in the proposed new Community Center. He stated that the figures in Exhibit B at the <br /> 4 October 15th meeting were not final figures, but a concept plan from which to obtain <br /> 5 estimated square footage figures. The City will be asking for contributions from the <br /> 6 aforementioned organizations. Thus far,the response from these organizations has been <br /> 7 positive. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 B. Council. <br /> 10 Fleming announced that the next Nativity Youth/Community Service Steering Committee <br /> 11 meeting will be held on November 3 from 7:30 until 9:00 A.M. <br /> 12 Enrooth reported of his meeting with Mr. Brown of the Library Board. <br /> 13 C. City Manager. <br /> 14 City Manager Mornson announced that there would be a work session for City Council <br /> 65 on November 1 st. He then suggested that the November 8th City Council meeting be <br /> 6 cancelled as it is difficult to schedule a meeting on election day. <br /> 17 Motion by Fleming, second by Enrooth to cancel Regular City Council Meeting of <br /> 18 November 8, 1994. <br /> 19 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 20 Mornson announced that the Planning Commission meeting of November 15th would be <br /> 21 starting at 6:00 P.M., rather than 7:00 P.M. due to it's expected duration. Mornson stated <br /> 22 that following the City Council meeting of November 22nd,there will be an HRA <br /> 23 meeting. He suggested that this may be a lengthy meeting and offered that this meeting <br /> 24 begin at 6:00 P.M., rather that the usual 7:00 P.M. <br /> 25 Motion by Fleming, second by Enrooth to begin the Regular City Council Meeting on <br /> 26 November 22nd at 6:00 P.M. <br /> 27 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 28 Mornson reported that the City received all necessary applications and fees from both <br /> 29 CUB Foods and Knox today. Two 50 page development agreements were also submitted <br /> 0 to the City Attorney. <br /> 31 Mornson submitted a termination of lease for the City Rental Property, 2900 Kenzie <br /> 32 Terrace N.E., dba Phil Lamere Barber Stylist.
