City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> • February 27, 1996 <br /> Page 2 <br /> 1 Councilmember Marks asked if St. Anthony Health Care was acting as the general <br /> 2 contractor for the work that was being done on that facility. Morrison indicated he thought <br /> 3 this was correct and he would confirm. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 6 VI. PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. <br /> 7 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to approve the following claims: <br /> 8 A. Suburban Collision and Paint Center in the amount of $3,957.37 for repair to a <br /> 9 public_works vehicle. <br /> 10 B. Stuart J. Bonniwell in the amount of $3,500.00 for professional services rendered in <br /> 11 connection with the audit of the financial statements of the City of St. Anthony for <br /> 12 the year ended December 31, 1995. <br /> 13 C. League of Minnesota Cities Trust in the amount of $10,000.00 for deductible for <br /> 14 Claim No. 00905534, Michael Jindra. <br /> 15 D. 5 pages of Verified Claims as presented by the Finance Director. <br /> 16 Councilmember Enrooth questioned Item A. Mornson indicated the claim was for repairs <br /> 17 to a water truck used to haul water to the ice arenas which was rear-ended. The City will <br /> �8 be reimbursed for the expenses. <br /> 19 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 20 VII. REPORTS. <br /> 21 A. Mayor. <br /> 22 Mayor Ranallo had no report. <br /> 23 B. Councilmembers. <br /> 24 Marks reported his attendance at a recent Sister City Committee meeting. He <br /> 25 reported the Committee is working to set up the teacher exchange program between <br /> 26 St. Anthony and Salo, Finland. It appears the key issue of getting Warren Rolek in <br /> 27 touch with his counterpart in Salo has been accomplished. Marks noted he will have <br /> 28 more details at a future meeting. <br /> 29 Marks expressed his appreciation for the flowers and condolences received at the <br /> 30 funeral of his mother. <br /> 31 C. City Manager. <br /> 32 Morrison noted the work session had been rescheduled from March 5 to March 6, <br /> 33 1996 due to precinct caucuses. The meeting will start at 6:00 P.M. with the goal <br /> 34 setting consultant and go to work session format at 7:00 P.M. <br /> 1W Morrison reported the School Board has chosen March 19, 1996 for a joint meeting <br /> 36 with the City Council. The meeting is scheduled from 6:00 P.M. to 7:20 P.M. The <br />
