City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> • March 26, 1996 <br /> Page 6 <br /> 1 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve Resolution 96-024, regarding vacating <br /> 2 certain easements dedicated in the plats of Apache Plaza and Apache Plaza 5th Addition. <br /> 3 Motion-carried unanimously. <br /> 4 IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 5 A. Request by Shriners to Sell Onions as a Fund Raiser at the Stonehouse in Late April or <br /> 6 Early May. <br /> 7 This request was considered previously under VII. Reports. <br /> 8 B. Resolution 96-025, re: Change Date of a Regular Council Meeting. <br /> 9 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve Resolution 96-025, regarding changing <br /> 10 the date of the Regular Council meeting scheduled for June 11, 1996 to June 10, 1996. <br /> 11 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 12 C. Resolution 96-026, re: Installation of"No Parking' signs on Penrod Lane. <br /> 13 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve Resolution 96-026, regarding <br /> installation of"No Parking At Any Time" signs on Penrod Lane. <br /> 15 Enrooth asked if any input had been received from residents in the area. Mornson noted <br /> 16 the only response the City had received had been from Autotraac. <br /> 17 Lisa Richers, 3103 Edgemere, explained the problem was that there were vehicles parked <br /> 18 on both sides of driveways and this resulted in difficulty seeing when pulling out of <br /> 19 driveways and also the inability to back out of the driveway without an immense amount <br /> 20 of maneuvering. <br /> 21 Mayor Ranallo noted there were also two places in the City where residents were doing <br /> 22 business in their homes and people were parking on the street. He reported the staff is <br /> 23 checking into this issue. <br /> 24 Wagner noted he lived in this area and the street is very crowded. <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 26 D. Resolution 96-027, re: Installation of"No Parking" signs on 39th Avenue N.E. and on <br /> 27 Stinson Boulevard. <br /> Motion by Marks, second by Faust to approve Resolution 96-027, regarding installation <br /> of"No Parking At Any Time" signs on 39th Avenue N.E. and on Stinson Boulevard. <br />
