Oiile, Wentzell & Brever in the amount of$2,600.00 for professional services <br /> 2 rendered the month of June 1996. <br /> 3 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4 Motion by Marks, second by Faust to approve the following claims: <br /> 5 B. 4 pages of Verified Claims as presented by the Finance Director. <br /> 6 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 7 VII. REPORTS. <br /> 8 Mayor Ranallo recognized Liquor Store Operations Manager Don Perry and his wife Jean. Perry <br /> 9 had been employed by the City of St. Anthony for three years and is moving to Wisconsin where <br /> 10 his wife has accepted a new position. Mayor Ranallo presented Perry with a plaque of <br /> 11 appreciation for his service and noted the work he had done with the Chamber of Commerce and <br /> 12 Apache Plaza Merchants Association. Mayor Ranallo thanked Perry and stated he would be <br /> 13 missed. <br /> Perry thanked Mayor Ranallo for the plaque and stated he had enjoyed working in St. Anthony. <br /> 151 He noted if it weren't for other reasons he would be working here for many years. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 A. Presentation of Donation to Police and Fire Departments. <br /> 18 Mayor Ranallo introduced Commander Larry Schwelbe and Ed Linquist of the Tri-City <br /> 19 Post 513 who were present this evening to make a contribution of$5,000.00 to the police <br /> 20 department and $5,000.00 to the fire department. He thanked the Post for coming <br /> 21 forward and making the contribution to the community. <br /> 22 Commander Schwelbe presented Police Chief Engstrom and Fire Chief Johnson with a. <br /> 23 check in the amount of$10,000.00. <br /> 24 Police Chief Engstrom thanked the Tri-City Post 513 and noted the funds would be used <br /> 25 toward the start up costs to institute a bike patrol in the City of St. Anthony. <br /> 26 Fire Chief Johnson thanked the Tri-City Post 513 and explained the funds would be used <br /> 27 to upgrade their audio-visual equipment including TV,VCR, and cart and a new <br /> 28 computer system. He expressed how appreciated unsolicited donations were as they <br /> 29 allow the department to better themselves. <br /> 30 Motion by Marks, second by Faust to accept the contribution from the Tri-City Post 513 <br /> 0 in the amount of$10,000.00. <br /> 33 Motion carried unanimously. <br />
