PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. <br /> 8 Councilmember Marks inquired regarding the claim from Berger Transfer& Storage. City <br /> 9 Manager Mornson explained this company is hired for hauling. With regard to the $2,000 <br /> 10 insurance claim payment to the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust, City Manager <br /> 11 Mornson advised the City has been reimbursed for this cost from Falcon Heights. <br /> 12 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth,to approve the following claims: <br /> 13 A. League of Minnesota Cities Trust in the amount of$2,000.00 for settling an insurance <br /> 14 claim. <br /> 15 B. Dorsey & Whitney in the amount of$950.71 for legal services rendered through May 31, <br /> 1996. <br /> 7 C. Foster, Ojile, Wenzell & Brever in the amount of$2,600.00 for legal services for June, <br /> 18 1996. <br /> 19 D. 4 pages of Verified Claims as presented by the Finance Director. <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 VII. REPORTS. <br /> 22 A. Planning Commission-July 16, 1996. <br /> 23 1. Howard& Dorene Krueger, 3631 Harding Street, Rezoning Request. <br /> 24 This item was withdrawn at the request of the applicant. <br /> 25 2. C. William& Susan Lutterman. 3433 Croft Drive, Rear Yard Setback Variance <br /> 26 Request. <br /> 27 Planning Commissioner Horst was in attendance to present this case. He reported the <br /> 28 Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 16, 1996,to consider the 18-foot rear <br /> 29 yard setback variance request of Howard and Dorene Krueger which is being made so <br /> 30 they can build a porch and deck on the back side of their house. The Planning <br /> 31 Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the 18-foot rear yard setback <br /> 32 variance for C. William and Susan'Lutterman, as presented, based on meeting the three <br /> criteria for variances,the neighbors voiced no concern, and contingent upon completion <br /> 4 of a certificate of survey and completion of the porch and deck within 12 months as <br /> 35 stipulated in the City Zoning Ordinance. <br />
