Councilmembers. 5 Councilmember Wagner reported Dick Horst's Coast to Coast Open House will begin on 6 Thursday, April 10, 1997 with cake at 5:00 P.M. 7 Wagner reported the Family Dollar Store is open. He noted he has not yet been in the store 8 but upon driving by saw a lot of grocery carts on the sidewalk in front of the store. This 9 looked sloppy and he hoped it would not continue. 10 Wagner reported Community Services will be meeting tomorrow morning. Healthy 11 Community/Healthy Youth will be making a presentation of a survey they will use to 12 determine what assets help their work with youth. Healthy Community/Healthy Youth is 13 moving forward. Ann Sparks is very much involved. The Committee is working on ideas for 14 promotion in the community and fundraising. Mayor Ranallo noted another community had volunteers who worked in the Community Center to help direct people in the building during the day. He suggested the same be done 17 in St. Anthony. 18 Wagner stated he would suggest that at the next Community Services meeting. He noted 19 there were volunteers available to help install the new playground equipment. 20 Councilmember Faust stated he felt the City needed to pursue the volunteers to help install 21 playground equipment. 22 Faust reported he and Wagner's attendance at the Comprehensive Plan Task Force meeting on 23 March 26, 1997. He stated there was good attendance at the meeting. 24' Councilmember Enrooth arrived at 6:40 P.M. 25 Faust reported he will be attending a Fiscal Futures Committee meeting on April 11, 1997. 26 At that meeting, the Committee will determine one property tax proposal that they intend to 27 support. He invited Councilmembers to share their ideas with respect to the tax proposals. 28 Faust noted the Council's attendance at the CUB Foods Stores Opening Ceremony. 29 Councilmember Marks noted his attendance at the CUB Foods Store Opening Ceremony and 100 thanked City Manager and his predecessors for all the work they had done with negotiations 11 for the store.
