City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> ® June 23, 1998 <br /> Page 23 <br /> 1 Morrison explained that the Ordinance will have an impact City-wide. Momson noted there are <br /> 2 two provisions, one for fertilizer and one for mowing around the lakeshore. These are <br /> 3 recommendations and do not necessarily have to be included in the Ordinance. <br /> 4 Momson reported that he and the Finance Director will be meeting with the company who <br /> 5 presented the proposal for computer upgrade to discuss the training element, Phase,1 of the <br /> 6 webpage, and Staff is in the process of obtaining bids for the computer equipment upgrades. <br /> 7 Mornson reported WSB will be present at the July 14 Council meeting to provide a report on the <br /> 8 grant program that is currently ongoing. The deadline was last Monday and approximately 35 <br /> 9 applications have been received. <br /> 10 Momson reported that the Planning Commission interviewed Planning Consultants at their last <br /> 11 meeting and are suggesting reopening of the process as there was only one.Consultant to <br /> 12 interview. <br /> 13 Commissioner Makowske reported seven RFPs were sent out and only three responses were <br /> 14 received. Of those, one responded that they were not interested in a project like this, and the <br /> 15 other two are very far apart in cost and in method. <br /> 406 <br /> Mayor Ranallo reported he had received a request to appear at the State Capitol to receive an <br /> 17 award honoring St. Anthony for having one of the first units in the Civil War. He stated the <br /> 18 validity of this is being investigated. <br /> 19 X. UNFINISHED BUSINESS -None. <br /> 20 XI.
