City Council Regular Meeting Minutes . <br /> September 26, 2000 <br /> Page 14 <br /> 1 Hodson has had some residents in the community approach him about the City instituting <br /> 2 a "teen night" at the Stonehouse as a way to give the kids a safe and affordable way to get <br /> 3 the kids involved in the community. City Manager Mike Morrison planned on looking <br /> 4 into the issue. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Hodson also noted that he would suggest that the City look into hiring a restaurant con- <br /> sultant to make improvements to that area of the Shopping Center. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Cavanaugh agreed it would be.interesting to get an economic analysis. Momson agreed <br /> 10 to look into the issue of gdtting proposals. <br /> 12 Thuesen would like to see the long-term plans for the Shopping Center. <br /> 13 Cavanaugh reported that he attended a Northwest Family Services Board Meeting, and <br /> 14 that he had asked Shelly Freeman to give a recommendation about the City's-continuing <br /> 15 membership in that organization. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Cavanaugh also reported that he had attended a final meeting of the League of Cities Fis- <br /> cal Policies and that he thinks that theCouncil has to plug into the legislative session and <br /> find out about the Governor's plan. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Lastly, Cavanaugh reported that he had attended a Mayor's Association Annual Confer- <br /> 22 ence recently, and found into be.an interesting way to get together with other mayors. <br /> 23 XII. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> 24 None. <br /> 25 XIII.
