STATE OF MINNESOTA JUVENILE DELINQUENCY PREVENTION <br /> ENERGY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FOR HI`I-CRANT <br /> CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROGRAM PAGE 1 INSTRUCTIONS <br /> • I. Project Title. Enter a descriptive title, not to exceed 50 spaces. Continua- <br /> tion projects must retain the same title used in previous years. <br /> 2. Beginning Date. Enter the approximate project beginning date -for the grant <br /> period covered by THIS application. <br /> 3. Duration. Specify the anticipated project duration in months for the grant <br /> period covered by THIS application. This application may cover up to a total <br /> of 12 months, but must end no later than September 30, 1985. <br /> 4. Implementing Agency. Enter the name of the agency, unit, or organization that <br /> will be responsible for the day-today operation of this project. <br /> 5. Sponsoring Unit. Enter the name and address of the local governmental unit <br /> that will administer the project as direct subgrantee of the Department of <br /> Energy and Economic Development. If local sponsorship refusal is documented, <br /> the implementing agency may apply for a direct grant. <br /> 6. Authorized Official. This is the person authorized by the sponsoring unit of <br /> government to enter into binding commitments on behalf of the sponsoring unit <br /> of government. For units of local government, this person must be designated <br /> in the Resolution of Sponsorship, page 4. <br /> 7. Contact Person/Project Director. This should be someone who is knowledgeable <br /> • about the project and may be contacted for further information. It may be <br /> the Project Director or acting Project Director if one has been selected. <br /> S. Financial Officer. This is the person designated by the sponsoring unit of <br /> government to be responsible for fiscal matters relating to the project, in- <br /> cluding accounting, fund management, veiification of expenditures, and <br /> financial reports. <br /> 9. The person designated in Item 6 as Authorized Official must sign and date <br /> the application. <br />
