1 <br /> I in the February 22nd memorandum from Public Works Director Hamer under <br /> 2 Item 2B of the Council's February 28th agenda packet. <br /> 103 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4 >Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to approve payment of $1,980.00 <br /> 5 to Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. as the balance remaining <br /> 6 on the contract to provide that service for the project. <br /> 7 Motion carried unanimously- <br /> .-8 >Motion by Marks, seconded by Ranallo to approve payment of $3 ,939.00 <br /> 9 to Dickson Electric which includes costs outside the $3,500.00 quoted <br /> 10 by the contractor which were approved by the Council as possible <br /> it additions when the bid was accepted. <br /> 12 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 13 >Motion by Makowske, seconded by Marks to approve payment of $2,560.00 <br /> 14 to Acoustics Associates for labor and materials to install the suspended <br /> 15 ceiling in rooms in the fire station as directed. <br /> 16 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 17 New Foss Road Lift Station to be Put Into Operation, March 13th <br /> 18 During the discussions of the latest contractor billings for the above <br /> 19 project, Councilmember Marks commented that he perceived the handwritten <br /> -0 changes probably represented a 10% reduction in excavating charges which <br /> 21 had been required by the project engineers. Mr. Childs reported the <br /> 22 conversion was scheduled for the afternoon of the 13th and said staff <br /> 23 would be requesting Happy's Potato Chip Company to adjust their plant <br /> 24 work schedule and the area apartment residents not to use water during <br /> 25 the five or so hours it would take to make the pump conversion. The <br /> 26 City Manager added that the City would have a truck standing by to pump <br /> 27 if necessary, rather than to completely shut down service to the whole <br /> 28 area. <br /> 29 Council Action <br /> 30 Motion by Marks, seconded by Ranallo to approve payment of $42,902.00 <br /> 31 to NewMech Companies for the replacement of the Foss Road sewage pumping <br /> 32 station. <br /> 33 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 34 Motion by Makowske, seconded by Marks to approve payment of the 1989 <br /> 35 membership dues in the Ramsey County League of Local Governments in the <br /> 36 amount of $216.45. <br /> 37 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 0 3 <br />
