AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF A FAMILY <br /> • AND TO OFF-STREET PARKING REGULATIONS; AMENDING <br /> SUBDIVISION 2 OF SECTION 2 OF APPENDIX I (ZONING) <br /> OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES BY AMENDING PARAGRAPH 29 <br /> AND BY ADDING A NEW PARAGRAPH 77 (a) ; AND AMENDING <br /> SUBDIVISION 9 OF SECTION 12 OF SAID APPENDIX BY AMENDING <br /> PARAGR�.PH 8 AND BY ADDING NEW PARAGRAPHS 13 AND 14 <br /> The City- Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby ordains: <br /> Section 1. Paragraph 29 of Subdivision 2 of Section 2 of <br /> Appendix I of to 1973 Code of Ordinances is amended to <br /> read as follows : <br /> 29 . Family - one person or two or more persons each <br /> related to the others by blood, marriage, adoption, <br /> or foster care, or. a group of not more than the owner <br /> of a residence plus three persons not so related occupying <br /> the residence and maintaining a common household and <br /> using common cooking and kitchen facilities . <br /> Section 2 . The following is added to Subdivision 2 of Section 2 <br /> of Appendix I of the 1973 Code of Ordinances as paragraph 77 (a) : <br /> 77 (a) Vehicle - car, van, pickup, motorcycle, snowmobile, <br /> • motorhome, camper, trailer, boat, truck, or similar <br /> item licensed by the State of Minnesota for use on <br /> roadways or waterways, but excluding bicycles and mopeds . <br /> Section 3 . Paragraph 3 of Subsection 9 of Section 12 of <br /> Appendix I of the 1973 Code of Ordinances is amended to <br /> read as follows : <br /> S. Any parking area or access drive constructed in <br /> any district after May 1, 1987 shall be paved with <br /> either asphalt or concrete. <br /> Section 4 . The following is added to Subdivision 9 of <br /> Section 12 of Appendix I of the 1973 Code of Ordinances <br /> as paragraphs 13 and 14 . <br /> 13. All vehicles, as defined in Section 2, Subd. 2, <br /> paragraph 77 (a) of this Appendix I , parked on <br /> any lot in an R-1, R-2, or R-3 district shall <br /> be parked on a surface paved with asphalt or <br /> bituminous material , concrete, cement, brick, <br /> or other paved surface, or on a gravel driveway <br /> located in the front yard. <br /> 14 . Any vehicle without a current state registration <br /> must be stored in a garage or other building. <br /> • <br />
