Hockey Rinks <br /> 5 With regard to hockey rink maintenance, it has been recommended to have <br /> 6 one hockey rink in Emerald Park and only skating rinks in neighborhood <br /> 7 parks. There has been a problem with hockey rink maintenance in the <br /> 8 Silver Point Park because of noise. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Signage <br /> 11 Ray Nelson has asked to have new signage on the SAV Liquors to match the <br /> 12 adjacent New Market store. Mayor Ranallo recommended that Nelson get <br /> 13 more prices for a sign and to price carpeting. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Future meetings <br /> 16 On October 1, Nelson will talk about liquor business and effects. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 The Barr engineer will also be coming to talk to the council and have a <br /> 19 follow-up neighborhood meeting to lay out costs and available options on the <br /> 20 water drainage problem. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Refinancing of the HRA debt will be discussed. <br /> 23 •24 Road Reconstruction <br /> 25 Only three people attended the road reconstruction meeting so members will <br /> 26 be contacted to see if there is still interest and send out reminded notices <br /> 27 before meeting. Burt would like to invite the members to the committee as a <br /> 28 whole to hear Bar and then have a follow-up meeting. Then they would be <br /> 29 invited to a neighborhood meeting with follow-up. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 32 <br /> 33 A. 1989 Liquor Operations Uncollectible Checks. <br /> 34 Ray Nelson has asked the Council to approve writing off $3120.56 of <br /> 35 uncollectible checks. <br /> 36 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve the amount. <br /> 37 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 38 <br /> _ 39._ B.
