Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> January 23, 1995 <br /> Page 4 • <br /> 1 Susan Oslund, 3210 Old Highway 8, lives in the Townhouses across from the proposed lot split. <br /> 2 She stated she is concerned with having so many buildings in such a small area. She indicated it <br /> 3 is not a parking lot next to the lot but a driveway to access the townhouses. She stated she is <br /> 4 concerned with privacy, noise, and the aesthetics of the proposed project. <br /> 5 Ms. Kahn explained the lot was surrounded by trees which were not more than six to eight feet <br /> 6 apart. She did not feel the proposed structure would detract from the neighborhood or create a <br /> 7 noise problem. She stated the proposed structure would in fact add value to the neighborhood. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Chair Gondorchin closed the public hearing at 7:40 P.M. <br /> 10 Motion by Makowske, second by Bergstrom to recommend City Council grant a lot split <br /> 11 variance for the property at 3125 Croft Drive into two (2)parcels, Lot A and Lot B with the <br /> 12 following conditions: <br /> 13 1. The proposed lots meet lot size requirements under city code. <br /> 14 2. The existing building on Parcel B is closer than 30 feet to the front lot line,but this is <br /> 15 permitted as an existing nonconforming use. <br /> 16 3. Sewer connections be separate for Parcel A and Parcel B. <br /> 17 4. All easements be in accordance with city code. <br /> 18 5. Before plat is made, evidence of title to the property must be submitted to the city. <br /> 19 6. All fees, including the City's engineering fees and legal fees, must be paid before the final <br /> 20 resolution approving the division will be signed. <br /> 21 7. The existing structure must be decorated to match the new structures. <br /> 22 8. The driveway must be in accordance with city code in regard to paving. <br /> 23 .9. Drainage will be as shown on the plat map. <br /> 24 10. Access to the proposed Lot A will be from Old Highway 8. <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 26 Chair Gondorchin urged Ms. Kahn to attend the City Council meeting on February 14, 1995 for <br /> 27 the final commitment of their lot split request. <br /> 28 <br />
