Some of the <br /> mandates do make sense, however, with each one comes added paperwork to. <br /> the State. Also,attached is a list of mandates just for the police department and <br /> an additional explanation of mandates that the League of Minnesota Cities <br /> compiled. <br /> 1. Lead and copper test. <br /> 2. Hazardous materials permit to County and State. <br /> 3. Conservation report for potable water. <br /> 4. DNR permit for pumping natural reservoirs. <br /> 5. MPCA permit for water treatment backwash. <br /> 6. Emission test and license plates. <br /> 7. Hazmat. <br /> 8. EMS. <br /> .9. Comparable worth. <br /> 10. Metropolitan Council paperwork on planning and zoning changes. <br /> 11. MPCA permit for sewer work. <br /> 12. Department of Health permit for water work. <br /> 13. Truth in Taxation requirements. <br /> 14. Commercial drivers license drug testing. <br /> 15. Tax increment reporting requirements. <br /> 16. OSHA standards. <br />
