615.08 Fees Established by Resolution. Fees will be payable to the City in amounts <br /> established by resolution of the Council for miscellaneous items and administrative <br /> services, including without limitation,.special assessment searches, accident reports, <br /> copying, ordinances, maps, minutes of Council and various commission meetings, <br /> printed forms, and certified copies. <br /> Section 620 - CHARGES AND ASSESSMENTS <br /> FOR SPECIAL STREET LIGHTS <br /> 620.01 Manager May Order Certain Work Done. The City Manager may from time <br /> to time order the installation and operation of lighting systems for public streets and <br /> sidewalks pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 429.101 which are in addition to andJor different <br /> than the normal street lighting intailed and operated at the City's sole expense <br /> (hereinafter-referred to in this Section 620 as "special street lighting"). The order <br /> will state the location and type of the special street lighting work to be done. The <br /> Manager will transmit a copy of the order to the Director of Public Works, who will <br /> then have the work done by entering into contracts for such work with the <br /> appropriate public utility company or other appropriate parties. <br /> 620.02 Record of Cost. The Director of Public Works will keep records of and report <br /> to the City Clerk the actual cost of all special street lighting work, and, in the case of <br /> :..� costs to be charged-prior to the time they are incurred, the estimated cost of such <br /> work. In either case, such records and reports will include the cost of all special <br /> street lighting work done or to be done and all operating costs of the City incurred <br /> and to be incurred with respect to the special street lighting. <br /> 620.03 Collection Before Lew as a Special Assessment. All costs incurred or to be <br /> incurred for special street lighting or the operation of the special street lighting, or <br /> such portion thereof as the Council by resolution from time to time shall determine <br /> to charge under this Section, will be charged with such frequency as the Council by <br /> resolution from time to time determines, to each owner of each separate lot or <br /> parcel of land benefitted by-the special street lighting, in proportion.to the benefits <br /> conferred upon such lots or parcels. If any charge is made for a cost to be incurred <br /> and, based upon subsequent actual costs, is found to be excessive, subsequent charges <br /> shall.be reduced by such excess, and, if deficient, subsequent charges shall be <br /> increased by such deficiency. Any charge not paid in full by September 10 of each <br /> year shall be levied as a special assessment against the lot or parcel of land benefitted <br /> by the special street lighting. <br /> 620.04 Levy of Assessment. On or before September 15 of each year, the City Clerk <br /> will prepare an assessment roll assessing all costs for the special street lighting <br /> reported under this Section 620 against each separate lot or parcel of land benefitted <br /> by the special street lighting, in proportion to the benefits conferred upon such lots <br /> _.�� 6-13 <br />
