ARTICLE V. CONSTRUCTION, INITIAL SERVICE ARFA, <br /> LINE EXTENSION AND CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS <br /> • SECTION 3. OONSTRUCTION TIMETABLE <br /> Article V, Section 3, Paragraph B is amended to require Group W to <br /> construct all areas of the city which contain dwelling units on or before <br /> November 12,- 1984. <br /> ARTICLE VI. SYSTEM OPERATIONS <br /> SECTION 4. FRANCHISE FEES, RATES, CEDES, CHANGES IN FEES AND PROCEDURES <br /> Article VI, Section 4, Paragraphs A, B, -C, and D are amended to <br /> require that throughout the 'term of the franchise, Group W shall pay to City an <br /> annual fee of 5% of all gross revenues. the rates provided in the franchise <br /> shall be guaranteed for one (1) year after completion of construction of 541 <br /> miles of cable plant in the -ten-city North Suburban initial service area. Basic <br /> rates shall be regulated pursuant to the terms and conditions of the franchise - <br /> allowing changes in rates unless the City specifically disapproves such changes. <br /> Rates for other than basic service shall be regulated pursuant to the terms and <br /> conditions of the franchise. this section further details the procedures for <br /> the regulation of other than basic service rates in the event the law should <br /> provide for their regulation. <br /> ARTICLE XIV. JOINT SYSTEM, ACCEPTANCE, INCORPORATION <br /> OF OFFERING, EXHIBITS, PUBLICATION <br /> SECTION. 2. TIME OF ACCEPTANCE; GUARANTEE; -INOORPORATION OF OFFERING; EXHIBITS <br /> Article XIV, Section 2, Paragraph H is amended by deleting <br /> "Exhibit A - Grantee schedules of rates" and substituting "Exhibit A - 1 - <br /> Grantee schedule of rates." <br /> This ordinance shall takeeffect and be in force after its passage and <br /> official publication. <br /> The ordinance was passed and adopted the 14 day of Aug. 1984. <br /> • Publish; August 28, 1484 <br /> -2- <br />
