• <br /> RESOLUTION 84-052 <br /> A RESOLUTION RELATING TO HEALTH INSURANCE <br /> PROVISIONS FOR RETIRED EMPLOYEES <br /> WHEREAS, certain full time City employees desire to retire from public service <br /> prior to age 65; and <br /> WHEREAS, Federal medicare coverage for hospital and medical costs are generally <br /> unavailable prior to age 65; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has the option of allowing employees to continue health insurance <br /> coverage on the City health insurance until age 65. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of- St. Anthony <br /> that a policy is established allowing full time City employees with more than <br /> ten (10) years service to the City of St. Anthony to continue to be covered under <br /> the City health insurance program from the .d'ate of their retirement until age 65 <br /> • at the employee's expense.
