IT 13 THE OPINION OF THE COMMISSION THAT ANY REZONING ON <br /> THE SOUTH SIDE OF SILVER LANE WOULD HAVE SERIOUS ADVERSE EFFECTS UPON THE SINGLE <br /> FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT NORTH OF SILVER LANE. SKOVRAN MOVED THAT THE <br /> COMMISSION SHOULD RECOMMEND THAT THE EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONING <br /> ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF SILVER LANE SHOULD BE RETAINED. THE MOTION WAS SECONDED <br /> BY CAVANAGH AND GIVEN UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. <br /> Z-62-7 REZONING IN AREA NORTH OF THE S00 LINE TRACKS AND EAST OF SILVER LAKE ROAD. <br /> THE COMMISSION CONSIDERED THE MANY REQUESTS AND SUGGESTIONS WHICH HAD BEEN <br /> MADE FOR REZONING THIS AREA. IN REGARD TO A REQUEST FOR REZONING THE EASTERLY <br /> MCST PORTION OF THIS AREA FOR INOUSTRAIL USES, IT WAS THE OPINION THAT SUCH RE- <br /> ZONING WOULD HAVE A DISRUPTIVE EFFECT U►ON THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD BECAUSE IT <br /> WOULD GENERATE HEAVY TRAFFIC THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND THAT IT WOULD ALSO <br /> ADVERSLY AFFECT THE ADJACENT SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL AREAS. IN REGARD REQUESTS <br /> THAT THE PROPERTIES FRONTING ON SILVER LAKE ROAD SHOULD BE REZONED FOR COMMERCIAL <br /> LIMITED BUSINESS, OR MULTIPLE DWELLING USE, IT WAS THE OPINION OF THE COMMISSION <br /> THAT SUCH REZONING WOULD FURTHER UNDERMINE THE EXISTING AND POTENTIAL SINGLE <br /> FAMILY RESIDENTIAL AREAS TO THE EAST, <br /> CAVANAGH MOVED THAT THE COMMISSION RECOMMEND THAT$ <br /> 1.
