THE VILLAGE HAS INVESTED IN THE ACQUISITION OF t_AND FOR A NEIGHBOR- <br /> HOOD PARK IN THE AREA. THE SCHOOL DISTRICT HAS ACQUIRED A BUILDING SITE IMMEDIATELY <br /> NORTII OF THE VILLAGE BOUNDARY ON SILVER LANE FOR A PRIMARY SCHOOL TO SERVE THE <br /> ADJACENT AREA BASED ON A RESIDENTIAL LAND USE. RESIDENTS IN THE AREA HAVE BUILT HOMES <br /> AND 114PROVED THEIR PROPERTY ASSUMING THAT THE AREA WAS TO DEVELOP AS RESIOENTtAL, <br /> WHICH HAD BEEN THE ZONING EVEN PRIOR TO ITS INCORPORATION INTO ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE. <br /> REZONING OF THE PROPERTY ON SILVER LAKE ROAD TO COMMERCIAL WOULD SERIOUSLY <br /> ENCROACH ON AN AREA WHICH IS RESTRICTED IN SIZE GY THE VILLAGE BOUNDARIES AND THE <br /> RAILROAD TRACKS. A COMIAERCIAL ZONING OF THE PROPERTY WOULD REQUIRE A BUFFER ZONE <br /> SUCH AS TWO FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ON THE EAST SIDE OF PENROD LANE, THUS FURTHER REDUC114G <br /> THE AREA AVAILABLE FOR SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT.
