r <br /> Village of St. •Anthony <br /> Planning Board Minutes <br /> July 20, 1965 <br /> 1 . CALL TO ORDER <br /> The regular meeting of the St. Anthony Village Planning Board was called <br /> to order by Chairman Coulter at 7:30 P. M. on Tuesday, July 20, 1965. <br /> 2. ROLL CALL <br /> The following members were present at roll call . <br /> Thomas Coulter <br /> Curtis Englund <br /> Robert Mesenbring <br /> Thomas Emond <br /> Peter DiCarlo <br /> Absent : <br /> Clement Springer <br /> Louis Nowitz <br /> Also present were the Acting Secretary James Shaughnessy (Building <br /> Inspector), and Acting Village Manager, Stanley Peickert. <br /> 3. MINUTES <br /> Upon motion by Englund, seconded by Emond, it was moved to waive reading <br /> and approve the minutes of the regular meeting of July 15, 1965, and its <br /> addendum. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> After reviewing the revised plot plan with the parking schedule, it was <br /> moved by Mesenbring, seconded by Emond to approve the minutes of the <br /> special meeting of June 21, 1965. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> The chairman announced that this was the time and place to hold a public <br /> hearing on the request of Dr. Robert Osterbauer who desires to lease out <br /> the lower level at 2525 33rd Avenue N. E. for a beauty salon. It was <br /> requested that board member, Thomas Emond, stay on as a non-voting member <br /> to maintain the quorem. Chairman Coulter pointed out : <br /> (1 ) the Planning Board should avoid advising the Council in a matter <br /> that would establish a precident that will allow considerable <br /> extensions of present non-conforming uses. <br /> (2) the Planning Board should consider the list of non-conforming <br /> structures that is included with the present agenda. Upon motion <br /> by Englund, seconded by Mesenbring, it was moved to recommend to <br /> to the Council to approve the extension of the non-conforming use <br /> to lower the level at 2525 33rd Avenue N. E. <br /> All in favor. Emond abstained. <br />
