-5- <br /> Permits: <br /> 1 . Ho sign shall hereafter be erected, re-erected or altered unless a permit <br /> for the same has been issued by the Building Inspector except as provided <br /> by this ordinance. In addition, electrical permits shall be obtained for <br /> electric signs . <br /> 2. Application for a sign permit shall be made in writing upon forms furnished <br /> by the Building Inspector. Such application shall contain the location by <br /> street and number of the proposed sign structure, as viell as the name and <br /> address of the owner and the sign contractor, or erector. The Building <br /> Inspector may require filing of plans or other pertinent information where, <br /> in his opinion, such information is necessary to insure compliance with <br /> this ordinance. <br /> Inspections <br /> All signs for t•ihich a permit is required shall be subject to inspection by <br /> the Building Inspector or his duly authorized representative who, upon presenta- <br /> tion of proper credentials, may enter at reasonable times any structure or <br /> premises within the Village to perform his duty. <br /> 1 . Footing inspections shall be required for all free-standing signs <br /> before erections. <br /> 2. Electrical inspections shall be required for all electric signs before <br /> erection. <br /> 3. The Building Inspector shall make a periodic inspection of all signs to <br /> insure compliance with this ordinance. <br />
