VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY PLANNING BOARD MINUTES . January 18, 1966 1. CALL TO ORDER. The regular meeting of the St. Anthony Village Planning Board was ,called to order by Chairman Pro-tem Curtis Englund at 7:30 P.M, on Tuesday, January 18, 1966. 2. The following members were present at roll call : Curtis Englund Dr. Thomas Emond Robert Mesenbring Dwaine Miedtke Donald Kronk Fred Katterheinrich Absent were: Louis Howitz also present was the Planning Board secretary pro-tem, James Shaughnessy. 3. MINUTES The minutes of the regular meeting of December 21, 1%5 were read by the secretary. Dwaine Miedtke observed an error in the minutes, whereas Mr. Gearhart 's request for a front foot variance was to read 7.5 feet instead of 7.6 feet. The minutes were approved as revised. Upon motion by Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring it was moved to elect Louis Howitz as Chairman of the St. Anthony Planning Board for the year of 1966. Motion Carried. Upon motion by Emond, seconded by Mesenbring, it was moved to elect Curtis Englund as Vice Chairman of the St. Anthony Planning Board for the year 1966. 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS None 5. ORDINANCE VARIATIONS (A) Mr. Harland Walbon presented two plans to remodel the front of his non- conforming building at 3242 Highway No. 8. Upon motion by Emond, seconded by Miedtke, it was moved to recommend to Council to deny the request for remodeling the face of the building thereby extending its life and to deny the application submitted September 21, 1965 for rezoning from R-1, single family to R-2, two family on the North 145' of Plat 63506 'Parcel 1100 (3300 Block on 33rd Ave. N. E.) for the following rea- sons: 1. Lack of plot plan indicating fencing, screening and landscaping. • 2. Lack of an over all development plan as it would pertain to the rezoning and- remodeling request. 3. Lackof adjoining property owners knowledge and approval as requested September 21, 1965• Motion Carried.
