VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> . January 18, 1966 <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER. <br /> The regular meeting of the St. Anthony Village Planning Board was ,called to <br /> order by Chairman Pro-tem Curtis Englund at 7:30 P.M, on Tuesday, January 18, <br /> 1966. <br /> 2. The following members were present at roll call : <br /> Curtis Englund Dr. Thomas Emond Robert Mesenbring <br /> Dwaine Miedtke Donald Kronk Fred Katterheinrich <br /> Absent were: <br /> Louis Howitz <br /> also present was the Planning Board secretary pro-tem, James Shaughnessy. <br /> 3. MINUTES <br /> The minutes of the regular meeting of December 21, 1%5 were read by the <br /> secretary. Dwaine Miedtke observed an error in the minutes, whereas Mr. <br /> Gearhart 's request for a front foot variance was to read 7.5 feet instead of <br /> 7.6 feet. <br /> The minutes were approved as revised. <br /> Upon motion by Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring it was moved to elect Louis <br /> Howitz as Chairman of the St. Anthony Planning Board for the year of 1966. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Emond, seconded by Mesenbring, it was moved to elect Curtis <br /> Englund as Vice Chairman of the St. Anthony Planning Board for the year 1966. <br /> 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> None <br /> 5. ORDINANCE VARIATIONS <br /> (A) Mr. Harland Walbon presented two plans to remodel the front of his non- <br /> conforming building at 3242 Highway No. 8. <br /> Upon motion by Emond, seconded by Miedtke, it was moved to recommend to <br /> Council to deny the request for remodeling the face of the building thereby <br /> extending its life and to deny the application submitted September 21, 1965 <br /> for rezoning from R-1, single family to R-2, two family on the North 145' of <br /> Plat 63506 'Parcel 1100 (3300 Block on 33rd Ave. N. E.) for the following rea- <br /> sons: <br /> 1. Lack of plot plan indicating fencing, screening and landscaping. <br /> • 2. Lack of an over all development plan as it would pertain to the rezoning <br /> and- remodeling request. <br /> 3. Lackof adjoining property owners knowledge and approval as requested <br /> September 21, 1965• <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
