-2- <br /> (0) <br /> 2- <br /> (B) Mr. Peter Keprois of Rodney Billman Incorporated presented his request <br /> for a 916" variance in the side yard from Highcrest at 3608 Maplewood, Lot 13, <br /> Block 4, Wilshire Park, 4th Addition. Mr. Keprois said a minimum variance of <br /> 416" was necessary, but a 916" variance would locate the house so that a utility <br /> pole would not be in direct . line with the picture window. <br /> Upon motion by Katterheinrich, seconded by Emond, it was moved to recommend <br /> to the Council to deny a 916" variance from Highcrest, but to grant a 4861f <br /> variance inateade It was further recommended that the <br /> Council consider requesting Northern States Power to relocate the utility <br /> pole. . <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> 6. ZONING VARIATION <br /> None <br /> 7. OLD BUSINESS <br /> James Shaughnessy, Building Inspector, presented revised copy of proposed <br /> sign ordinance. The Planning Board reviewed the contents in part. The pre- <br /> liminary draft incorporating changes will 'be re-submitted at the February 15, <br /> . meeting for further analysis. <br /> 8. BUILDING PERMITS <br /> James Shaughnessy, Building Inspector, presented a request for a building <br /> permit to erect a 7'X8' double faced sign with 8' clearance underneath set back <br /> 10' at 3725 Stinson Boulevard (Tousley Car Wash). <br /> Upon motion by Emond, seconded by Kronk, it was moved to recommend to the <br /> Council to deny said permit on the grounds Tousley's Car Wash would become <br /> congested if more signs were added to it's already adequate exposure. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> 9. MISCELLANEOUS <br /> (A) Mr. Horton Connett presented his preliminary plat plan for 10 R-1 <br /> single family and 3 R-2 two family lots on the property boarded by 33rd Avenue <br /> on the South, 34th Avenue on the North, Stinson on the West and Abutting the <br /> back property lines of homes facing Edwards on the East (commonly known as <br /> Lemke's Greenhouses), Plat 63506 Parcels 5570 & 5120. <br /> Upon motion by Miedtke,seconded by Emond, it was moved to recommend to the <br /> Council to approve Mr. Horton Connett's preliminary Plat of 10 R-1 single famil <br /> and 3 R-2 two family lots on a Cul De Sac extension of Roosevelt, from 33rd Ave_ <br /> with the understanding Mr. Connett will be platting the balance facing Stinson <br /> (W 1659 at a later date into 4 R-1 single family and 1 R-2 two family tots. <br /> • Motion Carried. <br />
