Ordinance Variations
A. Mr. Flaherty of 3208 Rankin Road presented his request for a 12 ft. back
yard variance to allow construction of a 161X16' family room attached to the rear
of his home.
Upon motion by Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring, it was moved to recommend to the
Council to grant *a 12 foot back yard variance providing a letter of approval,
signed by Henrich Olson(.the adjoining property owner) is submitted to the
Council .
The Motion Carried.
B. Mr. Horton Elliott (whom was not present) requests a 5 ft. side yard
variance to construct a house at 3415 Stinson Boulevard (Lot 8, Block 1, Lemke's
Addition). The Board discussed the proposed house and its relationship to
adjoining properties. The Board generally feels a house plan could be develop-
ed to fit this particular lot avoiding the problems of a 5 ft. sideyard. Upon
motion by Miedtke seconded by Katterheinrich, it was.moved to recommend the
Council to deny the request.
Voting on the motion.
• Aye: Miedtke, Katterheinrich, Kronk, Mesenbring, Englund
May: Dr. Emond
The Motion Carried.
