Zoning Variations <br /> None <br /> 7, Old Business <br /> Upon request of Mr. Walbon, his request for a building permit was set aside <br /> until the next regular meeting. <br /> 8.. Bui l'di ng Permits <br /> Mr. Peterson, Mr. Graengenberg and Mr. Pomroy, representing Clark Oil Co. <br /> presented plot and building plans for a Clark Service Station proposed for- <br /> 3301 Stinson Boulevard. <br /> The Planning Board reviewed the plans, discussing with the representatives <br /> general hours of operation, type of business, screening, traffic flows, sign <br /> sizes and layouts, building setbacks, flood light locations, etc. <br /> Upon motion by Miedtke seconded by Katterheinrich, it was moved to recommend <br /> to the Council to approve the plot as presented,' but modifying it ' from two <br /> 28 ft. curb cuts on 33rd Avenue to one 40 fte .curb cut, starting 30 ft. east <br /> from the west property line on 33rd Avenue N.E. and to relocate the corner <br /> trade sign within property lines and the total gross sign areas to be a maximum <br /> • of 180 sq. ft. <br /> The Motion Carried. <br /> 9. Miscellaneous <br /> A. Mr. Hines, representing the Spring Company presented their request to <br /> divide their property at 3928 Penrod Lane (W. &J of Lot 4, Block 6, Moundsview <br /> Acres 2nd Addn. ) a 115.54 ft. X 134.5 lot, so that the South 75.33 ft. forms one <br /> lot and the north 40.21 ft. can be sold to the adjoining property. owner. <br /> Upon motion by blesenbring seconded by Miedtke, it was moved to recommend to <br /> the Council to approve said lot division as submitted. <br /> The Motion Carried. <br /> B. Upon motion by Katterheinrich seconded by Kronk, it was moved to <br /> recommend to the Council in light of the estimated price from Nason, Law, <br /> Wehrman and Knight Inc. of $5500 in comparison to the earlier quote of $3425 <br /> by Midwest Planning and Research, Inc., the. Board recommends the Council make <br /> an objective reviewal of the Midwest proposal. <br /> The Motion Carried. <br /> 10.
