VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> August 16, 1966 <br /> 1. Call to Order <br /> The regular meeting of the St. Anthony Village Planning Board was called <br /> to order by the Chairman, Louis Howitz at 7:40 P.M. on Tuesday, August 16, 1966. <br /> 2. The following members were present at roll call : <br /> Louis Howitz, Robert Mesenbring, Donald Kronk, Fred Katterheinrich, <br /> Curtis Englund, Dr. Thomas Emond <br /> Absent : <br /> Duane Miedtke <br /> also present was Norbert Maher and Harry Lekson. <br /> 3. Minutes <br /> The minutes of the regular meeting of July 19, 1966 were approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> 4. Public Hearings <br /> A. An informal public hearing on request of the Village Council to discuss <br /> issuance of a building permit was called to order by Chairman Howitz. Object- <br /> ions were heard from Lynn Pingry, 3205 Croft Drive, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Wojtas, <br /> 3600 - 33rd Avenue. Also some comments were given by Stan Horowicki, 3217 <br /> Croft Drive. Dr. Emond asked Mr. Walbon if they planned to continue business <br /> at this location and he said yes. Mrs. Kronk asked if a permit was granted, <br /> what assurance would the people have that the work would be completed as <br /> called for in the plans. A $5000.00 Bond to cover same to be posted by the <br /> Walbon Company. The matter was referred back to the Village Council. <br /> B. Albert Villella made his request for rezoning of property at 3913 <br /> Fordham Drive and after hearing those that were not in favor of a change in <br /> zoning said he would drop his request and proceed with the land as zoned. <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations <br /> A. Sandy's request to remove 4X8 section of existing pylon sign and <br /> replace it with an attraction sign was granted. Upon motion by Mesenbring, <br /> seconded by Englund it was moved that the request be granted. The motion <br /> carried. <br /> B. Quality Homes, Inc. request for permission to leave two 4X8 billboard <br /> signs at 37th and Silver Lake Road was not approved. Upon motion by Englund <br /> seconded by Mesenbring it was moved that the request not be approved. The <br /> motion carried. <br />
