CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> .PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> • March 16 , 1982 <br /> The meeting was called- to order by Chairman . J.ones at 7 :55 P.M. <br /> Present for. rol-l. call: . Peterson, Jones , Makowske , and Zawislak. <br /> Absent: Bjorklund,. Bowerman, . and Sopcinski. <br /> Also present: . Ron Berg., Administrative Assistant. <br /> The following addition was. made to the minutes for .the Planning <br /> Commission -meeting-held January 19th : <br /> Page 8, para. 1: Insert followingthe word "operation" in the <br /> first line, "including that; (a) all activities <br /> be confined within the building; (b) hours of <br /> operation in the evening be limited to midnight; <br /> and, (c)_ no items can be offered for sale through <br /> an auction which are not normally permitted to <br /> be sold' by other merchants in the same center <br /> or would fit in with the existing businesses <br /> in that particular center <br /> Motion by Mrs . Makowske and seconded by. Mr-. Peterson to approve as <br /> amended the minutes for the Planning .Commission meeting .held January <br /> 19 , 1982 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Peterson was named to represent the Commission at the next Council <br /> meeting, March 23rd. <br /> Mr. Berg presented the plans for the sign which had been approved by <br /> the Council for - the Apache Medical Center. The concerns regarding <br /> this signage were expressed to Councilman Marks later in the evening . <br /> At 8:00 P.M. , Chairman Jones .opened the public hearing to subdivide <br /> without platting the properties at-3.916. and 3912 Shamrock Drive to <br /> permit a. 15 foot land transfer to- the owners of the 3912 property as <br /> requested by Myrtle M. Bjerebek, . owner of the property at 3916 Shamrock <br /> Drive. The land -transfer would permit .a 15 foot- garage expansion on <br /> the 3912 site. <br /> Mr. Jones read the notice which had been published and sent to all <br /> adjoining property owners within 200- feet of the two properties . No <br /> one present reported failure to receive the notice or objected to <br /> its contents . <br /> The City Attorney had reviewed the proposal- and suggested descriptions <br /> • of the strip to be conveyed and for the properties after the transfer. <br /> He had indicated the subdivision without .platting would appear to be <br /> acceptable since the existing legal descriptions of the properties <br />
