DESIGNATION OF COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE TO THE DECEMBER 7 <br /> 7 1992 CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Commissioner Thompson will represent the Planning Commission <br /> 10 at the December 7th Council Meeting. It was noted that the <br /> 11 regularly scheduled Council Meeting of the 8th of December was <br /> 12 changed to December 7th. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 5.. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> 15 <br /> 16 A. Request for Subdivision/Plat Approval , Dennis Cavanauah, <br /> 17 C. G. Rein Company <br /> 18 <br /> 19 The Public Hearing was opened by Chairperson Faust at 7 : 44 <br /> 20 p.m. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Chairperson Faust noted that notice of this public hearing <br /> 23 appeared in the October 28 , 1992 edition of the Bulletin . <br /> 24 <br /> 25 The request is for a subdivision/plat approval for the Tires <br /> 26 Plus company, located at 3800 Silver Lake Road. Approval is <br /> 27 required for the tax increment financing proposal for the <br /> 8 area. <br /> 0 A memo from the Management Assistant addressed all issues of <br /> 31 concern regarding this request . The memo also indicated that <br /> 32 the ordinance which applies in this situation had been <br /> 33 reviewed and the request appears to comply with all of the <br /> 34 requirements of the ordinance. The parcel needs to be removed <br /> 35 from the Tax Increment Financing District . <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Mr. Cavanaugh was in attendance only to respond to any <br /> 38 questions members of the Planning Commission may have. He <br /> 39 stated he felt the staff had done a very good job in assisting <br /> 40 him with this request . <br /> 41 <br /> 42 The Public Hearing was closed at 7 : 47 p.m. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Motion by Madden, second by Murphy to recommend to the City <br /> 45 Council approval of the subdivision/plat approval request from <br /> 46 the C. G. Rein .Company on behalf of the Tires Plus Company, <br /> 47 3800 Silver Lake Road recognizing that the request meets all <br /> 48 of the requirements of the ordinance. <br /> 49 <br /> 50 Motion carried unanimously <br />
