PUBLIC HEARINGS. None. <br /> 8 VII. MISCELLANEOUS.- <br /> 9 A. Concept Review of City Hall/Community Center. <br /> 10 Management Assistant Kim Moore-Sykes indicated the City has received the latest building <br /> I I plans for the City Hall/Community Center from the architects. They were presented to the City <br /> 12 Council by Jim O'Brien and Liz Herrmann at the June 6, 1995 work session. She indicated the <br /> 13 City Council has referred these plans to the Planning Commission for a concept review. <br /> Moore-Sykes welcomed any comments from the Commission. She noted this is merely <br /> 15 informational. <br /> 16 Commissioner Makowske, referring to the memorandum from the City Manager, inquired as to <br /> 17 number 19. Moore-Sykes indicated this would be a room to hold the fileserver for the computer. <br /> 18 This will be located next to the Finance Director's office. <br /> 19 Commissioner Makowske inquired as to number 38, what is ECFE. Moore-Sykes indicated this <br /> 20 is a School District program called Early Childhood Family Education. <br /> 21 Commissioner Franzese questioned where the Fire Department access would be.- Moore-Sykes <br /> 22 indicated the access would be the same as the Police Department. Commissioner Makowske <br /> 23 commented this location would be nice, away from the children. <br /> 24 Commissioner Gondorchin inquired if the Fire Department was in the original plan. Moore- <br /> 25 Sykes indicated no, the plan was sketched in for the City Council to review. The area may either <br /> 26 be additional parking or a grassy area until the expansion is actually completed in the future. <br /> 27 Commissioner Franzese indicated she was pleased to see storage for orchestra equipment. <br /> 28 Commissioner Franzese inquired as to the comparison of proposed parking and current parking. <br /> Moore-Sykes indicated the parking space available in the proposed plan would nearly triple that <br /> Wo of the current parking. <br />
