Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> June 20, 1995 <br /> Page 6 <br /> 1 Commissioner Gondorchin noted if the trees are on the property of Stop 'N Go, there is no issue, <br /> 2 the fence can be located on the property line. <br /> 3 Motion by Horst, second by Thompson,to recommend Council approve construction of the 6 <br /> 4 foot fence on the property line of 2400-37th Avenue Northeast. The removal of mature trees is <br /> 5 subject to the location of the property line. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 8 E. Comprehensive Plan Amendment Review <br /> 9 Chair Bergstrom provided the Commission with a copy of the Columbia Heights Comprehensive <br /> 10 Plan Amendment for their review. <br /> 11 Discussion was held regarding the various issues the Commissioners wish to address in the <br /> 12 Comprehensive Plan for St. Anthony. <br /> 13 Chair Bergstrom suggested a table of contents should be established first. He noted some items <br /> 14 he would like to see in the Table of Contents would be demographics and housing stock. <br /> 0 <br /> 15 Commissioner Franzese indicated she would like issues addressed so the City would not <br /> 16 deteriorate, such as issues regarding nuisances. <br /> 17 Commissioner Makowske indicated he would like to review other communities and the table of <br /> 18 contents from their Comprehensive Plans. <br /> 19 Commissioner Gondorchin indicated he would like to see the financial health of the City <br /> 20 reviewed. <br /> 21 Commissioner Faust suggested if the Commissioners could review table of contents from other <br /> 22 communities, the Commissioners would be able to get ideas for their own table of contents. <br /> 23 Discussion continued regarding various communities similar to St. Anthony. <br /> 24 Chair Bergstrom indicated Kim Moore-Sykes would obtain two complete Comprehensive Plans <br /> 25 and seven table of contents from area communities. <br /> 26 Chair Bergstrom indicated he would speak with someone from the Met Council regarding <br /> 27 attending a Planning Commission meeting and giving a brief presentation. <br />
