Commissioner Hansen stated he would be willing, but would <br /> 9 like to see John Madden continue. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Commissioner Werenicz withdrew his motion. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Motion by Franzese, second by Werenicz to elect John Madden as Chairperson <br /> 14 of the Planning Commission for the coming year. <br /> 15 <br /> 15 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 17 <br /> 18 B. Additional Miscellaneous <br /> 26 <br /> �7 Commissioner Franzese noted that the sign at the former Medtronics building <br /> 28 was to have been bermed at the bottom. Chairperson Madden had previously <br /> �9 mentioned how the lot sloped in late 1988. Staff advised this matter has <br /> 30 been completed. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Commissioner Werenicz commented on the green neon sign all around the <br /> 33 building at Rosie's Restaurant. The City Manager felt this could be <br /> 34 viewed as signage and he observed that it was left on longer than had <br /> 35 been originally stated in the sign request. <br /> 36. <br /> 37 Chairperson Madden commented on the breakfast sign at the Stonehouse. The <br /> 38 City Manager said this was a portable temporary sign and. has now been <br /> 39 removed. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The City Manager gave an update on the Autumn Woods projects. He has .received <br /> 42 some calls from residents of Autumn Woods regarding a pedestrian stairway. <br /> 43 He noted that the Autumn Woods developers are making some requests of the <br /> 44 City so he is prepared to request the completion of the pedestrian access <br /> 45 stairway. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Chairperson Madden observed that this stairway will not meet the handicapped <br /> 48 code. The City Manager stated a ramp can be installed. <br /> 49 <br /> 50 Commissioner Franzese requested information regarding the soil samples taken <br />
