Regular Council Meeting <br /> September 25, 1990 <br /> page 8 <br /> 1 meet -the specifications. <br /> 2 <br /> 3 Chief Johnson also noted that the calculations of the Conway Company <br /> 4 were incorrect and would have resulted in the Department receiving <br /> 5 much more equipment than was listed in the options. <br /> b <br /> 7 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to accept the bid of Road Rescue <br /> 8 including the options as recommended by the Fire Department. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 11 <br /> 12 The Chief advised that this unit will be used to store hazardous materials <br /> 13 so there will be less reliance on neighboring fire departments. Some of <br /> 14 these hazardous materials are presently being stored in the department <br /> 15 building and. they are bulky and require considerable space. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 9. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 18 <br /> 19 A. Sections 700 and 1300 of the Proposed Recodified City Ordinances <br /> 20 VanderHeyden advised that those sections which need dramatic changes <br /> Y1 are being taken out of the Code and reworked. Some sections merely <br /> 22 need updating. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Councilmember Wagner noted that the last page of the material supplied <br /> 25 appears to be incomplete. <br /> 26 <br /> �7 Councilmember Marks observed that Section 700 Park Rules which addresses <br /> 28 Practice of Sports appears to need no change. This was confirmed by Vander- <br /> 29 Heyden. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Councilmember Makowske stated that these sections contain all ' the rules <br /> 32 but none of the fines if these rules are not observed. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 VanderHeyden stated that fines are covered in another section. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 10.
