STAFF REPORT <br /> DATE: February 24, 1993 <br /> TO: Planning Commission <br /> FROM: David Mark Urbia, Management Assistant <br /> ITEM: UTILITY BUILDINGS <br /> The Planning Commission requested information regarding sheds and utility buildings. <br /> These items are defined as accessory uses in the following sections: (1) 1615.04 (h); (2) <br /> 1616.04 (e); (3) 1620.04; (4) 1625.04 (a); and (5) 1630.04. <br /> The Building Inspector, Larry Hamer, requires a building permit to construct these <br /> structures. In addition, a cement slab or treated wood base is required so that the bottom <br /> of the structure does not decay. <br /> Dimensional regulations are covered in the zoning ordinance. Maintenance of these <br /> structures are covered in the recently adopted housing maintenance ordinance; especially <br /> • the painting procedures. If the Planning Commission is thinking of some other restrictions, <br /> they may be presented for consideration to the City Council. <br />
