She indicated last year the legislature gave out $10 million to <br /> St. Paul and $10 million to Minneapolis for magnet schools. St. Anthony, along with eight other <br /> 3 suburban school districts, is in conjunction with the Minneapolis School. They are currently <br /> 4 looking for a site in downtown Minneapolis for a K-12 school. $10 million has been given plus <br /> 5 $700,000.00 for the planning and the staff training. The state will only cover 75%of the <br /> 6 expenses of the magnet school. St. Anthony and the other eight suburban school districts will be <br /> 7 responsible for the remaining 25%. There are seniority and pay issues for the future employees <br /> 8 of this school. She reported there are 18 more school districts that are merging this coming year, <br /> 9 which will leave a total of 361 school districts in the state. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 X. Refrigeration Fees (2nd <br /> 13 reading . <br /> 14 Motion by Enrooth, second by Wagner to approve the second reading.of Ordinance 1995-002, <br /> 15 relating to fees amending fees Nos. 11 and 12 of section 615.07 of the 1993 St.Anthony Code of <br /> 16 Ordinances. <br /> 17 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 18 XI.
