CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 5 The meeting was called to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chair Bergstrom at <br /> 6 7:00 P.M. <br /> 7 H. ROLL CALL. <br /> 8 Commissioners present: Chair Bergstrom; Commissioners Franzese, Gondorchin, Horst, <br /> 9 Makowske, and Thompson. <br /> 10 Commissioners absent: Commissioner Delmonico. <br /> 11 Also present: Kim Moore-Sykes, Management Assistant. <br /> 12 III. SELECTION OF THE CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR FOR 1997 PLANNING <br /> 13. COMMISSION. <br /> 14 Motion by Horst, seconded by Franzese, to nominate Douglas Bergstrom as Chair for 1997 <br /> 15 Planning Commission. <br /> 16 Chair Bergstrom called for additional nominations three times. Hearing no additional <br /> 17 nominations, Chair Bergstrom.entertained a motion to close the nominations. <br /> 18 Motion by Franzese, seconded by Makowske, to close the nominations for Chair.of the 1,997 <br /> 19 Planning Commission. <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 Chair Bergstrom accepted the nomination for Chair of the 1997 Planning Commission. <br /> 22 Vote on the motion: Franzese, Gondorchin, Horst, Makowske, and Thompson voted aye. Bergstrom. <br /> 23 abstained. <br /> 24 Motion carried. <br /> 25 Motion by Bergstrom, seconded by Franzese, to nominate Chris Makowske as Vice Chair for <br /> 26 the 1997 Planning Commission. <br /> 27 Chair Bergstrom called for additional nominations three times. Hearing no additional <br /> 28 nominations, Chair Bergstrom entertained a motion to close the nominations. <br /> 29 Motion by Bergstrom, seconded by Horst, to close the nominations for Vice Chair of the 1997 <br /> 30 Planning Commission. <br /> 31 - Motion carried unanimously. <br />
