ANTHONY <br /> 2 <br /> 3 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> 4 <br /> 5 January 20, 2004 <br /> 6 7:00 p.m. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 <br /> 9 I. CALL TO ORDER. <br /> 10 Council Liaison Theusen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 13 Council Liaison Theusen invited the Council and the audience to join in the Pledge of <br /> 14 Allegiance. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 III. ROLL CALL. <br /> 17 Commissioners present: Commissioners Gray, Hanson, Hoska, Jensen, Stromgren, Tillman <br /> 18 and Young. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Absent: None. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Also present: Council Member Theusen; City Manager Michael Morrison. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 IV. VOTE ON PLANNING COMMISSION CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Council Member Theusen explained that at the first regular meeting in January the Planning <br /> 27 Commission elects a Chair and Vice Chair. He further explained that since the Chair from 2003, Chris <br /> 28 Melsha,is no longer on the Commission and Vice Chair Randy Stille is now on the City Council that he <br /> 29 was asked to call the meeting to order and take nominations for the Chair and Vice Chair positions. He <br /> 30 stated that once the Commission elects a Chair and Vice Chair, that he would step aside and have the <br /> 31 new Chair finish the meeting. He asked the Commission for nominations for the Planning Commission <br /> 32 Chair. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Commissioner Hanson nominated Commissioner Joel Stromgren for Chair. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The Commission agreed by consensus to approve the appointment of Commissioner Joel Stromgren as <br /> 37 Chair for the St. Anthony Planning Commission for 2004. <br /> 38 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Commissioner Tillman nominated Commissioner Todd Hanson for Vice Chair. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 The Commission agreed by consensus to approve the appointment of Commissioner Todd Hanson as <br /> 43 Vice Chair for the St. Anthony Planning Commission for 2004. <br /> 44 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 45 <br />
