PUBLIC HEARING - NONE 32 33 V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF - NONE 34 35 VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL 36 37 A. Presentation of Greater Minnesota Housing Corporation (GMHC) by Suzanne Snyder 38 39 Ms. Suzanne Snyder, GMHC, stated it has been a few years since her last appearance. Her 40 presentation reviewed the basics of who the GMHC is and what services they provide. The 41 GMHC is a non-profit organization established in 1970. The purpose is to preserve, improve and 42 increase affordable housing and assist communities with housing revitalization. To accomplish 43 their purpose they support development of affordable rental housing with predevelopment loans, 44 build or renovate homes to sell to moderate income families and individuals, provide ethically 45 priced and sound mortgage financing to homebuyers, and deliver community-based housing 46 services through the Housing Resource Center Program.
