The motion carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Erickson, it <br /> was moved to deny the request of Mr. George Moody to make time payments on <br /> the sewer and water hook-up charges for his property. <br /> All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> A report from N. F. Maher, Village Maintenance Supervisor, on the sinking <br /> of curbs and blacktop on 32-1/2 Avenue was read. A discussion between the <br /> council and engineer followed. Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded <br /> by Councilman Bailey, it was moved that the village accept the responsibility <br /> for this and make the necessary repairs. <br /> All in favor. The motion carried. <br /> The engineer was instructed to look into the code for requiring proper <br /> stabilizing material for back fill to avoid future problems of this sort. <br /> • <br />
