4 <br /> The Village Engineer and Manager were directed to attend a meeting with the <br /> Highway Department on October 18, 1965 at 1 :30 P.M. regarding the improvement <br /> of County Ditch N2. The Council expressed the opinion that the proposed solution <br /> was not a complete answer to the Village's Ramsey County drainage problem. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to contact Superintendent Tingham in regard <br /> to the planning of a safety award presentation to the Village. <br /> The September report as submitted by the Police Department was ordered <br /> placed on file. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Erickson it was <br /> moved that the list of election judges as submitted by the Village Clerk be <br /> approved as submitted. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Erickson seconded by Councilman Bailey is was <br /> moved that the following licenses be approved: <br /> Rose Radio Corporation <br /> Plymouth Electric Company <br /> Christianson Electric Co. <br /> Yorston Plumbing Co. <br /> New Brighton Plumbing Co. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> • Upon motion by Councilman Erickson seconded by Councilman Bailey that <br /> Layne of Minnesota be authorized to use a picture of the St. Anthony Treatment <br /> Plant in a calendar advertisement. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Bailey it was <br /> moved that the proposal of Mahlon Sandberg to move units 15 and 16 to the north, <br /> and the driveway to the south of the units, a change in the former approved <br /> garage complex, be approved as per plan submitted. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Erickson <br /> it was moved that the properly verified claims be paid. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: McNulty, Erickson, Dougherty, Bailey <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Sorenson <br /> The motion carried. <br /> • <br />
