r <br /> -4- <br /> Mayor O'Connor introduced Resolution No. 66-064 and moved that it be adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION N0, 66-064 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF BIANCONI CONST- <br /> RUCTION COMPANY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SEWER, WATER <br /> AND STORM SEWER LINES. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Springer <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> The first and second quarter liquor store reports were received and ordered <br /> filed. <br /> • The Village Manager was directed to install a pedestrian traffic control sign <br /> at Roselle Drive and 29th Avenue N.E. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to inform the office of the Minnesota League <br /> of Municipalities that the Village Council was in favor of a single organiz- <br /> ation and would favor the Metropolitan organization if the Hennepin County <br /> League was dissolved. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved <br /> that the request for license by D and D Dairy Company be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mr. Rosso representing Mrs. Melba Evanson, property owner at 35th and Belden <br /> Drive, requested abatement of a storm sewer assessment #1960-1A. He stated <br /> the property was not benefited. Mr. Haik informed Mr. Rosso that Mrs. Evanson <br /> was informed of the Council 's decision in this matter over a year ago. The <br /> Mayor informed Mr. Rosso that his request had been given a full hearing on <br /> several other occassions and the matter was closed. <br /> Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Councilman Sorenson that the matter <br /> of signs at 3304 - 31st Avenue N.E. and 3101 Rankin Road be tabled. After <br /> further discussion, the motion and second were withdrawn respectively. The <br /> Village Manager was instructed to remove unauthorized signs on public R/W. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved <br /> • that the request of the Minneapolis Gas Company to lay a collector wire on St. <br /> Anthony Boulevard east of Stinson Boulevard be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
