ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> September 27, 1966 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday September 27, 1966. <br /> The following were present at roll call : <br /> O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also Present: Raymond Haik, Village Attorney <br /> DeWayne Olson, Village engimer <br /> John Printon, Village Manager <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved <br /> that the Minutes of the regular meeting of September 13, 1966 be approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Springer it was <br /> moved that the Canvas Board minutes of the September 13, 1966 primary election <br /> be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mr. Curtis Englund presented the minutes of the Planning Board meeting of <br /> September 20, 1966. <br /> After discussion of needs to provide access to properties along the Soo Line <br /> Railroad R/W it was moved by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman <br /> Dougherty that preliminary approval be granted to Albert Villella for a <br /> proposed plat dividing lot 4, Block 4, Mounds View Acres, 2nd Addition into <br /> tract A,B,C, and D and that a variation be granted allowing a 70.23' width <br /> for tract B, and 70' width for tract C by 130' in depth, and subject to ease- <br /> ments for utilities and street R/W. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> A parking plan was presented by Palmer Hermundsiie for Medtronics Inc. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor, <br /> that the parking plan be approved as presented and that a "Right turn only" <br /> sign be installed on the north lane exit and a "left turn only" be installed <br /> on the south lane exit. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The plan for a 157 bed nursing home at 37th and Foss Road was reviewed. <br /> • DeWayne Olson, Village engineer, pointed out the need for a drainage easement <br /> from the N.W. corner of the Nursing Home site, west to Chandler Drive. Mr. <br /> Korsunsky, architect, explained that he would have to talk to the property <br /> owners as he had no authority to make recommendations beyond the Nursing <br /> 2 <br />
