There being no further discussion, Motion by Mayor O'Connor and <br /> seconded by Councilman Sorenson that the plans for the Nursing Home be approved <br /> subject to an easement for storm sewer descr#bed as the S 10' lot 13 and N 10' <br /> lots 11 and 12, Block 11, Mounds view Acres 2nd Addition. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> �A request for a roof sign for Fabricmasters Inc. located at 2654 Kenzie Terr- <br /> ace was discussed. Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman <br /> Bailey it was moved that the request be tabled subject to an investigation <br /> as to the type of business being conducted on the premises. <br /> otion Carried. <br /> Mr. Ev Hamilton presented the Minutes of the special Park and Recreation <br /> Board meeting of September 6, 1966. <br /> The Mayor declared that the Public Hearing on the assessments for project <br /> 7417-65-1 was open. A representative from Bauer Welding Co. asked if the <br /> project was complete as yet. Village Engineer, DeWayne Olson informed him <br /> that the job was complete and that the Contractor and Northwestern Bell Co. <br /> were to place an overlay on an excavation made to repair a buried cable. <br /> There being no further questions, the Mayor declared this portion of the hear- <br /> ing closed. <br /> The Mayor then declared that the Public Hearing on the assessments for project <br /> 7419-65-1 was open. Mr. Palmer Hermundslie, Medtronics Inc. representative, <br /> inquired as to whether the assessment might be paid in cash, and he was inform- <br /> ed that cash payments would be accepted for 30 days after the assessment <br /> hearing was closed. There being no further questions, the Mayor declared the <br /> assessment hearing closed. <br /> Councilman Sorenson introduced Resolution No. 66-071 and moved that it be <br /> adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 66-071 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS FOR 1965 IMPROVEMENTS <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: D'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> The resolution was declared adopted. <br /> The adjourned hearing on the Silver Lake Outlet was called to order by the <br /> • Mayor. The Council was advised that a revised agreement would be forthcoming <br /> from the New Brighton Village Council after its October 11th meeting. There <br /> being no further discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by <br /> Councilman Sorenson that the Public Hearing be adjourned to 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> on Tuesday November 22, 1966. <br /> Motion Carried. ��i <br />
