VILLAGE OF ST, ANTHONY COUNCIL MINUTES October 11, 1966 The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday October 11, 1966. The following were present at roll calls O'Connor, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson Absent: Dougherty also present: Raymond Haik,Village Attorney John Printon, Village Manager Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved that the minutes of the regular meeting of September 27, 1966 be approved as submitted. Motion Carried. • George Erickson, presented the Park and Recreation Board minutes of October 6, 1966. The Board requested that N.S.P. Company be requested to attend the November 3rd meeting to discuss the park lighting proposal. A copy of the 1967 Park budget is to be forwarded to Chairman Hamilton. The proposed excavation Ordinance was discussed at length. Mr. Charles Cowan, Minneapolis Gas Company, spoke briefly in favor of adopting the ordinance. The Council directed the Village attorney to prepare the Ordinance for first reading on October 25, 1966. Mr. Weber, Baskin-Robbins Co., appeared requesting that he be allowed to place a second sign on the newly franchised store in the St. Anthony Shopping Center. After discussion, the Council informed Mr. Weber that the Council did not feet a hardship was involved in the request and that the signs would have to conform to the sign ordinance. Mayor O'Connor introduced Resolution No. 66-072 and moved that it be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 66-072 A RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARTICIPATION IN THE SUBURBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY NURSING DISTRICT. The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey. • Voting on the Resolution: Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson Nay: None Absent not voting: Councilman Dougherty Resolution declared adopted.
