VILLAGE OF ST, ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> October 11, 1966 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday October 11, 1966. <br /> The following were present at roll calls <br /> O'Connor, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Absent: <br /> Dougherty <br /> also present: Raymond Haik,Village Attorney <br /> John Printon, Village Manager <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved <br /> that the minutes of the regular meeting of September 27, 1966 be approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> • George Erickson, presented the Park and Recreation Board minutes of October 6, <br /> 1966. The Board requested that N.S.P. Company be requested to attend the <br /> November 3rd meeting to discuss the park lighting proposal. A copy of the <br /> 1967 Park budget is to be forwarded to Chairman Hamilton. <br /> The proposed excavation Ordinance was discussed at length. Mr. Charles Cowan, <br /> Minneapolis Gas Company, spoke briefly in favor of adopting the ordinance. <br /> The Council directed the Village attorney to prepare the Ordinance for first <br /> reading on October 25, 1966. <br /> Mr. Weber, Baskin-Robbins Co., appeared requesting that he be allowed to place <br /> a second sign on the newly franchised store in the St. Anthony Shopping Center. <br /> After discussion, the Council informed Mr. Weber that the Council did not feet <br /> a hardship was involved in the request and that the signs would have to conform <br /> to the sign ordinance. <br /> Mayor O'Connor introduced Resolution No. 66-072 and moved that it be adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 66-072 <br /> A RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARTICIPATION IN THE <br /> SUBURBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY NURSING DISTRICT. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey. <br /> • Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Councilman Dougherty <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br />
