• VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY COUNCIL MINUTES July 11, 1967 The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, July 11, 1967. The following were present at roll call : O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey Absent: Sorenson Also present: Raymond Haik, Village Attorney DeWayne Olson, Village engineer John Printon, Village Manager It was noted that "as" was omitted line 5, page 3 : should read "approved as", and that "it was moved" second to last line page 3 should be deleted. Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved that the minutes of June 27, 1967 be approved as amended. • Motion Carried. Mr. Wyman Nelson representing the Perkins Pancake House appeared regarding the replacement of a sign damaged by a recent storm. After discussion, Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Bailey that the request of Perkins Pancake House to replace a sign damaged by storm winds be approved as requested Voting on the motion: Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey Nay: Dougherty Absent not voting: Sorenson Motion Carried. Mr. Fred Housengat representing Standard Oil Co. appeared requesting the replacement of a sign damaged by storm winds. After discussion, Mayor O' Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Bailey that the request of Standard Oil Co. to replace a damaged sign at 27th Ave. N.E. and Kenzie Terrace be approved. Voting on the motion: Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey Nay: Dougherty Absent not voting: Sorenson Motion Carried. After considerable discussion, the Village Attorney was directed to prepare an amendment to the water rate ordinance to provide for a standby charge for a fire sprinkler system. The Village Manager was directed to report on char- ges made by other communities on July 25.
