• VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> July 11, 1967 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, July 11, 1967. <br /> The following were present at roll call : <br /> O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey <br /> Absent: Sorenson <br /> Also present: Raymond Haik, Village Attorney <br /> DeWayne Olson, Village engineer <br /> John Printon, Village Manager <br /> It was noted that "as" was omitted line 5, page 3 : should read "approved as", <br /> and that "it was moved" second to last line page 3 should be deleted. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Springer it was <br /> moved that the minutes of June 27, 1967 be approved as amended. <br /> • Motion Carried. <br /> Mr. Wyman Nelson representing the Perkins Pancake House appeared regarding <br /> the replacement of a sign damaged by a recent storm. After discussion, Mayor <br /> O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Bailey that the request of Perkins <br /> Pancake House to replace a sign damaged by storm winds be approved as requested <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey <br /> Nay: Dougherty <br /> Absent not voting: Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mr. Fred Housengat representing Standard Oil Co. appeared requesting the <br /> replacement of a sign damaged by storm winds. After discussion, Mayor O' Connor <br /> moved and seconded by Councilman Bailey that the request of Standard Oil Co. <br /> to replace a damaged sign at 27th Ave. N.E. and Kenzie Terrace be approved. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey <br /> Nay: Dougherty <br /> Absent not voting: Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> After considerable discussion, the Village Attorney was directed to prepare <br /> an amendment to the water rate ordinance to provide for a standby charge for <br /> a fire sprinkler system. The Village Manager was directed to report on char- <br /> ges made by other communities on July 25. <br />
